CLAD is looking for a full-time Door & Locksmith Technician as the newest member of our family.
We want to work with someone who has a good mechanical aptitude, strong ability and desire to solve problems and some experience with hand/power tools. CLAD is a growing, family-owned, door and hardware contractor business providing services to clients in the San Francisco Bay and Sacramento Area. We supply, install and service the mechanical and electrified hardware and doors for pedestrian openings including: hollow metal, wood, storefront and automatic doors.

Door & Locksmith Technician Responsibilities, Duties & Traits (including but not limited to the following):
- Optimistic – a positive attitude is an absolute must!
- Good Communication Skills and Very Personable – must enjoy interacting with our company’s family members (clients and team)
- Genuine and Forthright – honest with yourself and others
- Diligent, dedicated and thorough – desire and ability to follow through and complete projects
- Ability to take the initiative and make quick, educated decisions; ability to troubleshoot and solve problems (while maintaining a positive attitude)
- Ability to manage workflow – meet with clients, assess needs, help prepare estimates, return to install and communicate completion notes
- Good workmanship and ability to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering top quality performance and results

- Physical Ability to lift 50lbs – 100lbs, climb ladders, hold and operate power tools, drive a work truck and travel primarily throughout the SF Bay Area and greater Sacramento area.
Door & Locksmith Technician Qualifications and Skills:
- Ability to problem solve, handle power tools and learn the trade
- Clean Driving Record (DMV) and Valid Driver’s License
- Reliable Mobile Phone
- Ability to take measurements, write down concise and understandable notes and enter information into an electronic platform (i.e. app)
