Full facility upgrade for a power plant equipment supplier
When Natel Energy, a leading provider of hydroelectric turbines, needed upgraded doors and security features for their new facility, they turned to us.
For this project, they needed us to:
- Upgrade the doors and hardware throughout the facility
- Install access control systems on their openings
- Install electrified door hardware to work with the ACS

The Solution: Avigilon Alta hardwired system
We decided that the best way to provide them reliable and convenient security for their facility was to install a wired Avigilon Alta hardwired system.
While WiFi ACS systems offer a lot of benefits, WiFi itself is hard to fully secure. Opting for a hardwired system takes WiFi out of the equation, allowing for superior end-to-end security.
After wiring the system, we installed a variety of high-security door hardware and electrified door hardware, including Yale exit devices with trim, HES electric strikes, NGP continuous hinges, and heavy duty door closers.

Project installation and wiring throughout the facility took nearly two weeks to complete, including one work of actual onsite days.
